USC - Reading of the Game
Registration ends on 5/28/2024Notes: This course will focus on match analysis with an emphasis on different systems of play and will help coaches understand how this important skill can be used to develop players individually and as a team. The workshop will be held in conjunction with a New York Red Bulls Major League Soccer (MLS) match versus Charlotte FC. Prior to the match, course attendees will participate in a 2.5-hour workshop delivered by a United Soccer Coaches instructor. The course will include a pre-match discussion with a member of the RBNY first-team coaching staff and a field viewing of the warmups. To conclude, a half-time match analysis will also be conducted. Note: to receive the course certificate, attendees are required to be present for the entire course duration. No exceptions will be made to this requirement.
